I can get two old bowmore bottles for 100€ both. You can see the bottles in the picture attached.
Do you think that it worth?
Seller also have Oban destillers edition, destilled in 1992 for 60€ and the glenrothes destilled in 1992 for 80€.
All bottles seem to have been well stored.
Those are a good buy to collect?
Yes, I think those two are good bottles and well respected in the community. A few years before, 100€ would have been a steep price. But in the actual collection hype these are reasonable prices. But please have a detailed look at the sealing. There had been some cases, where bottles had been refilled. Some labels show residues of drops and some capsules on the cork are not original.
Look at the pictures of the same bottles in our whisky-database to make sure, that the sealing is the same.
