A year has passed, and I have done nothing concerning the storage - but with a good reason. I'm going to move from this house, and I already have something planned for the other, to store whisky. Basically, a man cave - or in this case, a man attic. By the end of summer, I hope I'll have something to show.
Regards!

Well, finally I've moved. Spent the last 2 months packing, carrying, and unpacking.
Already in the "man attic" (with some space for the wifey's sewing machine), it was the last space to tidy up.
Haven't bought/build any whisky cabinet yet, because I'm going to transform this small place into a cabinet. Oak (of course), maybe dark oak, in the walls, floor, ceiling, and door. Small LED strips in the shelves? I don't know yet.
Any suggestions will be appreciated!

@Vasco Not ideal for proper storage conditions, but I find the booze globe to be aesthetically pleasing.

The globe could not be the ideal for long term storage, but certainly is very good for your everyday liquor. I use to see these globe cabinets in vintage furniture stores, they're not cheap.
I thin I'll have something like that in the living room.

I have an empty living hall upstairs, seeing that my collection has grew over the years I decided to engage a carpenter to build a proper cabinet.
This is the empty hall upstairs:
2. Cabinet assembly in progress:
3. End result, I am quite satisfied with how it turned out. Can't wait to fill up all the empty spaces.
4. It serves as a decent backdrop for my occasional product shots too!

Jaw-dropping whisky cabinet. It's beautiful!
