Hey in the back of my whisky cabinet I found an unopened bottle Little Mill 8 year old whisky and and a Blablair 16 year old whisky.
Now the question: How high is there value? Should I forget them again or open at bottle later today
Just checked an auction site, looks like the Littlemill goes for about £160-180 and the Balblair for £50-70 at the moment. Couldn't tell you anything about how the value will change in the future though.
@TheGreatMothra wow... £160-180 sounds like at keeper :-) The Balblair is seriously exposed :-)
Littlemill is a closed distillery, so it's valuable for collectors. I would do some money with it.
About balblair, the price is lower than littlemill, so maybe that 16yo deserves a dram.
Nice... the value may rise over time :-)
Yes. Old bottles in good conditions will increase value and more if the distillery is closed.
Keep it in a dark, and not warm nor wet place.
Take a look to the liquid level and if it's a dry climate, seal the bottle with parafilm to avoid evaporation.
