I'm a little jealous of Carleton; he has direct access to the Tennessee distilleries! BC is starting to develop whisky in local craft distilleries but they can only offer us very young whiskies right now.

Despite my forum name, I'm not drinking scotch. The last whisky I had was Bookers Bourbon at a local bar where I like to try whiskies. I forgot it was cask strength (62% ABV) and had a bit of a shock on my first sip.

Yeah, I think there are 2 or 3 whisky distilleries in NYC, but they don't really appeal to me. I guess I might do the $15 tour eventually.
