Nutty flavors are subjective but are generally associated with European oak sherry cask maturation. In that vein, I would echo @hwchoy's recommendation of the Glengoyne 18 and add Glendronach 18 and Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength.
Clear alcohols are for rich women on diets.

I haven't tried the Macallan 15, but in general I've found Macallan whiskies to be overpriced and overrated. The Glenlivet 18 is a favourite of mine. Sweet and smooth. Lovely stuff, and if my memory serves me right, Horst highly rates it too in his review on YouTube.
I would also second Carlton's suggestions - I've had both the Glendronach 18 and the Glengoyne 18 and rate them both.
Yes that one has been on my target list for a while :dizzy: I usually buy at duty free and Singapore airport does not carry GlenDronach. but recently I spy it at the domestic terminal in Vietnam, my next flight, the Allardice is coming to papa soon :smiley:

thank you for your time,,
I heard the Glengoyne 18 is a very fine dram. See Horst's video.
@Bill5tkr
You can always use the database and search there using flavours and maybe you will find one that is interesting.
@Bill5tkr
I've tried both (and still have them at home). The Glenlivet 18 is ok, but I find the Macallan 15 much more enjoyable to me. @Chappers
if I recall correctly there are two GlenDronach 18, one is the Allardice. Another is a special finishing or something. Need to check the videos.
@hwchoy the one I had was the Allardice. Blue bottle. If you're into your sherried whiskies you'll love it.
The one I was referring to was the Allardice.
@Chappers
Yes that one has been on my target list for a while :dizzy:
I usually buy at duty free and Singapore airport does not carry GlenDronach. but recently I spy it at the domestic terminal in Vietnam, my next flight, the Allardice is coming to papa soon :smiley:
@hwchoy you won't regret it! :smiley:
