Paddleford Creek from Princeton, NM..it says on the side of the bottle.

    41.5% 83 proof

I had a chance to pick up this bourbon for $23, and at that price point it is a heck of a deal. What a great value. Word is that the usual cost is about $30. And that's only fair.

Amongst the usual flavors I detect banana. At least on some days

I'd say this bourbon comes with soft flavors rather than a "smooth flavor" as printed on the bottle. (But the word "smooth" has gone a long and strange way, both in advertising and reviewing. I think Dickel should have a patent for the word 'smooth', .. anyway, let's not get too much caught up in semantics..)

Paddleford Creek is good stuff IF you like corn heavy bourbons. Well balanced from nose to finish. But not really exciting to me.
