What a great site,... 'meeting fine spirits' is the way to go.
I consider myself a whisky rookie with a curious palate, inclined to explore primarily Bourbon and Rye.
My background is rather 'fruity' since I was born and raised in an area where fine apricot brandy, apple & pear brandy and rowan berry brandy was readily available. I'm talking about the Mozart land, Glock land, Red Bull land if you will. Not to confuse with the kangaroo land.
About 15 years ago we moved to Texas.
Love the Lone Star State. Will check out the spirits here. There is great potential for interesting whiskey stuff.
