St. Kilian Whisky Solera II-2024
The first bottling of the “Whisky Solera by St. Kilian – Unpeated” series went through all three stages of the Solera system, with the last maturation stage consisting exclusively of Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The row of casks above, the 1st Criadera, consists of barrique casks that were previously filled with medium sherry made exclusively from Pedro Ximénez grapes. The top row of casks, the 2nd Criadera, consists of the finest Manzanilla sherry casks that were filled with mild whisky that has matured in fresh American white oak casks.
