Glenmorangie owns the highest Pot Still in Scotland. In there the Whisky is gaining an especially smooth taste. The Quinta Ruban, Gaelic for ruby red, is part of the Extra Matured Series of the distillery. The 14 year old Single Malt matured for ten years in Bourbon casks. Afterwards, it finished in Port Wine casks.

Taste: Port wine arrival developing into nuttines now the rum and raisin chocolate has nuts in it as well as more dark chocolate and also a bit of oak at the back also a hint of herbs
Finish: medium finish, little oakiness and dried fruit
Comment: The colour is quite something, pink/rose/reddish glow. This is very delicious and often puts me in the mood for chocolates.
