I will be going on vacation and an going to pick up a few bottles.

I've seen two COLAs for this - one at 80 proof and one
at 90 proof. High proof JD is always welcome but not at
the $150. price tag I've seen mentioned for the Sinatra.

I think this is targeted to hard core JD collectors and that's
about it. If I want a higher proof JD, I'll go with the Holiday
Select or Ducks Unlimited - both priced much lower than
the Sinatra. Not trying to jinx your offer to help and if
you are able to help collectors, that's fine. Just want to
make sure any JD drinkers are aware of the the 80+
proof/cheaper price options out there.

The Sinatra Select is 90 Proof and is a collectors bottle. I agree if your are wanting high proof Jack to drink then there are better choices. The 2011 Holiday Select is 100 Proof and Single Barrel is 90.
