Default Looking For A Whiskey That Will Last 21 Years

Hi,
I would like to buy a good bottle of Irish whiskey for my god daughter to have on her 21 st birthday. She is 6 months old now. Any suggestions on a brand?
Thank you!
Tracy

Default 21year old bushmills Irish whiskey

Bushmills 21 year single malt – A limited number of 21 year bottles are made each year, and are matured in three different types of casks: first in American bourbon barrels and then in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. Together it will total 19 years in these casks, after which it may lie in Madeira drums for a further two years until bottling.

This is an Irish whiskey I'd look at that if I was you.

Congratulation I'm sure she will love drinking it with you on her 21st.

I'm far from an expert but for Irish whisky my favourite is the bushmills range.
Can't go wrong.

I would go to a local place that has a good selection and try a few.. If your going to take a bottle and store it for 21 years I would get something pretty good maybe even harder to find myself.. Something special about opening a bottle a long time after they stop making it If its just a standard whiskey.. its less fun when 21 years from now I can go buy the same bottle down the street
