Default Haig & Haig Dimple Wrapped In Wiring

I'd like to know how old this unopened bottle might be and whether it is drinkable. What might the value be as well.

Thank you. Can you also determine if it is safe to drink? Does the quality deteriorate with time?

Your Haig's Dimple whisky bottle was produced between the late 1950s and the mid 1960s according to the Diageo Archive. To drink or not to drink is the question. We suggest you smell the contents before drinking and decide from there. As you may already know, whisky does not mature once bottled and after many years, it's quite possible for the taste of the spirit to deteriorate - especially if there has been evaporation.
