Default The Crown Royal Family

I am in the process of reviewing the entire lineup of Crown Royal whiskies on my blog. I am having a a heck of a time describing that unique Crown Royal flavour that lies at the bottom of the palate. So far I have come up with what I call.... "a dank bourbon and corn flavour which is somehow acrid and vegetal at the same time."

Just wondering how someone else might describe that unique flavour.

Any help would be appreciated.
