Default Wiser's Oldest 18y/o from 1954

I have a bottle of Wiser's Oldest Blended Canadian Whisky. The tax stamp reads 1954. Any idea of the value? I'm sending an email to the distillery and wondered if you folks had any other information. Thanks!

Default And Chime we will.

Hello iceking2. Ok Wisers 18 year old brings back memories. The dark round bottle in the at the time a red velet bag with the yellow tie and the copper wisers tie up. If you liked Wisers Deluxe you would love the strength an smooth flavor of Ole 18.

Wisers products originally were aged and bottled at the site of the original Distillery in Prescott Ontario. Later in the 70s when the plant had been closed production moved and continued at Corbys Distillery in Corbyville ON, just North of Belleville ON. When Corbyès closed production moved out West to Kelowna BC and I believe went to Windsor to the Walkerville Plant for Hiram Walker. If anyone knows different let me know.

Now to price. Oldest is still around today but new bottle and no velvet bag. 1954
would make it about 25 to 40 percent higher then retail if the bottle is clear and the labels and tax label are in good shape and you have the bag.

If you have any questions dont hesitate to email me here on the site.

Hope this helps.
