Hi.
I recently bought this bottle. It's a collectible bottle ? What is the approximate value of it ?

Default Glen Moray

The bottle in your photo is one of Glen Moray's 12yr old bottlings from the 1980s. While Whisky.com does not currently offer valuations, we were able to get some figures this particular time. We're told that without a box, its value will be around £20-£30 ($30-$46USD) at auction and with the box we have seen them go for anything between £60-£100 ($93-$155USD).

For more Glen Moray information, see: http://www.whisky.com/brands/glen_moray_brand.html

Hope this helps.

Default Glen Moray 12-Year-Old

To further JoJo's comments, this packaging continued into the 1990's and into the 2000's until Glenmorangie PLC sold Glen Moray. This bottle can still be found in large supplies in the USA. This bottle was packaged in an embossed tin with a swing open door in a series depicting Highlanders. Even today in the USA, with the tin, it can be found for ~US$40.00 to US$50.00
