Smile Old Whiskey bottle

I was going through my grandmothers stuff tonight and found an old glass bottle that is labeled "Silver Brooks Whiskey" it is a cork bottle and about the name is a logo :

S&G Co G is large the the "&" symbol in it and the S and Co are overlapping on both sides smaller than the G similar to an initial on a cuff link

just wanted to know if anyone has heard of this brand???
