Ballantyne Stewart anyone?

I have a bottle of Ballantyne Stewart whisky. I cannot find the history of this distiller. Can anyone help?

This was owned by London whisky merchant Sydney Hillman who's address there was Finsbury Pavement if my memory serves. He also started Burn Stewart & Co and they may have some details but I doubt it as the original company was bought from him in the late 80's and they may no longer have any details.
