hi every body here i need help to get it right my bottle of ballantines has a date and a hour on the bottle the date shows 1980 is that true that it's age is 32 years
i know that taste still the same when the whisky is in the bottle (not like wine by the way i have a1998 Arminian wine bottle plus 2001 Lebanese wine)here are the pictures ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ballantine's Finest is a mix or blend of malt & grain whiskies - all aged for at least three years (some much longer, but we don't have access to specifics on that). Unlike wine, whisky does not age or mature in the bottle. This means that even though your bottle may be 32 years old, the contents remain at the minimum three years old.
