Ballantine's 86 Proof Serial Number? - Whisky.com Forum

I have an unopened mint condition bottle of Ballantine's Finest Blended Scotch Whisky, 86 Proof in the box.
There is a Texas Tax Sticker with the number 20171081 stamped on it and also shows 336 cents.
The serial number stamped on the Internal Revenue Sticker across the top of the bottle is 127905365.
When was it bottled?
Is it drinkable?

If you pst some photo's we can help with dating it. You could check the Texas State Tax records and that should give you an accurate date for the tax stamp and thus the bottle,
