I thinking about selling some whisky bottles of mine on ebay, but im running into problems with a service shipping them. How do i go about doing this?? Do i just wrap them up really well and not tell them....????

I've even heard about a seller shipping a $15,000 bottle of whisky within the states and taking the gamble on it. Its your chance to take. Hopefully the receiver won't claim it as damaged and send you back the empty pieces.

It is illegal to ship alcohol in the US without a license.
Ebay policy of selling the "collectible container" is only to enable them to collect fees on the sold item. Some folks are willing to take the chance shipping bottles using various services. You cannot insure the item and in the event the package is opened, you will be in trouble, not ebay. USPS, UPS, FedEX, DHL and most others have a Dangerous Goods or Hazardous Materials policy - check the website to see what is acceptable and what is prohibited.
