Default Burbon Question

Hi everyone, I'm just new to this site and I was wondering if anyone could give me information on a couple bottles of burbon I was given.
The first is a bottle of Ol Ezra that is over 30 years old and the second is a bottle of Old Weller about the same age.
I was wondering if they were worth anything or if they should just be opened and enjoyed.
I appreciate any help

As Michael stated - pics are really helpful!
Additionally, bourbans are very rare over about 27 yrs. that have been aged in a cask that long. If these are simply ones that have been around for 30 years the aging really stops once they are bottled. Many, not all, commercial offerings are generally under 10 years of cask aging but there are wonderful exceptions to this.
The price increases rather quickly as the aging goes up not unlike single malt scotch.

Default Not so "select"

Can anybody tell me "what happened to JD. single barrel? The "select" is not as smooth and the caramel flora doesn't seem to be present... I am SO DISAPPOINTED! I have a bottle of select sitting nearly full now for nearly a year...my home bar consumption is 2 bottles of single barrel per month. Hey JACK WHAT HAPPENED? I WANT MY SINGLE BARREL BACK!!!!!!

I LOVE JD SINGLE BARREL! But truly dislike the "select" the change to select seemed to happen sometime in 2010...idk? Can anyone give me a reason why the change? I have talked to many store owners and have bought all the remaining jd single barrel remaining on the shelf in a 30 mile radius nearly a year and a half ago...now the whiskey has run out I have bought jd select on three separate occasions and have had friends finish them off. Thebstore owners continue to tell me that it is the same whiskey just different bottles...but my taste buds say differently!

SORRY Jack, I have moved to Bookers...and col. Blantons.

Sincerely,

SINGLE BARREL SAVAGE
