Default Tullamore Dew

Hi there,

I'm not a connoisseur by any means but wanted to ask for some assistance. My grandfather recently gave me a collection of miniatures. One of them is a Tullamore Dew 10 year old whiskey. There is a cork in the top and the cork is in a far from healthy state I would say so I don't expect it to be worth any thing and am not really interested in that. I was more interested in the age as i wondered if it was drinkable!

The bottle is earthenware and is grey at the bottom and green at the top. I have seen lots on the internet but they tend to be 12 years old and have a picture on them. this has no pictures,it has writing on either side. On one side it says 'Tullamore Dew years 10 old Irish whiskey D E Williams limited Tullamore Ireland' on the other it says ' finest Irish whisky uisage beata' in a crude looking ring of shamrocks. Does any body have any ideas as to how old it might be from this description? I've asked my grandfather but he doesn't remember where and when he got it.

Thanks
