Default White Horse / Unknown age, possibly 1754

Looking for information regarding age and value of a bottle of Whitehorse Scotch Whisky that was brewed under the Queen Majesty dated (we believe) February, 1754. Bottle has a 7 digit serial number. Any information would be welcomed.

Yes, you'll need to register first to post photos. It's easy and just takes a minute.

The White Horse brand is owned by Diageo. Contact Christine, their archive manager. Send an email to: Christine.J.McCafferty (at) diageo.com . I will also give her the heads up your request is on the way. She will want photos, so be sure to email them, or just refer her to this link. Good luck!

Default White Horse bottle

Feb 1754 is the date of founding of the blend/brand, not the age of the bottle.

The gentleman who supplied the picture has a mid 20th century bottle. I have two bottles that date from the 1910s including one that has the original outer wrapper used in packing/shipping. The label on the bottle underneath is in perfect condition. Both bottles predate White Horse's use of the Stilton cap (screwtop) which came in the 20s/30s.

We are happy to have your bottle of White Horse dated, but will need you to post photos (you'll need to register first). Also, due to holidays, there will be a delay in getting it dated , however, we can have it done for you! Happy Holidays!
