Default JW green label bottle top

hi guys!

i recently bought a 1 liter bottle of JWG and was surprised to see it not having a cork top and instead they used the usual metal screw top with the plastic pour stopper typical of johnnie walker black or jose cuervo tequila... is there anything wrong in this bottle? as i see around, the usual 750ml JWG bottles do have cork tops, but it it possible that the batch i got used the screw top instead?

need help to identify if this is normal for JWG or not...
im thinking that this might be a counterfeit bottle?

here are some pictures...

Just opened a 1 Liter JW-G. It looked for all the world like a screw cap, but was indeed a cork.

Default Duty free JW Green?

I found out that typically a plastic stopper is used on ALL bottles sold through Duty Free. This is a requirement that is used to fight counterfeiting. So based on the plastic stopper and the 1L size, it appears this is a Duty Free bottle.

BCD - drinks already?! And where did you get your bottle?

And just a bit more info for those who might have an interest...

As we now know, this is the correct bottle top for Johnnie Walker Green label. The name of this particular closure is called a Midas cap - once again. its purpose is anti-counterfeit to ensure Diageo's brands cannot be replicated.
