It has a nice smooth creamy taste to it, it has a nice flavour when mixed to cocktails like whisky sours or a manhatten. very easy and nice to drink straight. one of my favourites 9/10

One of worst I ever tasted..harsh cheap and nasty! Go for some Glenfiddich instead.

Obviously a man who knows very little about the finer points of single malts.Whilst I accept that individual tastes vary, what can never be said is that this whisky is "cheap and nasty".To my mind only Blends are cheap and nasty, but that's just my opinion!

I thought that McAllister's Reserve was a blend anyway not a single malt, at least it is where I live
