Default Usher's Green Stripe with old tax seal

I bought a portable mini bar that had a bottle of Usher's green Stripe Blended Scotch whisky (100% choice Scotch Whiskies) Contents 4/5 pint. J & G Stewart Ltd. Edinburgh Scotland. Distilled and Bottled in Scotland Under British Government Supervision. the bottle is Green and says on the bottom SA230 P 7 U C D I was told the owner died in 1969 and this was his portable bar. There is a price written in pencil on the label for $3.50.

Is this good to drink still and any idea how old?
