Default Help identifying an old whisky!

Hi All, I recently had a look through my father's liquor cabinet and came across a few old bottles of liquor, one of which is an old bottle of Dewar's White Label. Here is a link to a couple of pics:

I'd primarily like to know how old it is, and if anyone knows what it might be worth, that would be great also.

thanks!

I'll see what I can find out regarding approximate age of your bottles!

Default Dewar's White Label

Damien - can you take a photo of the back label - for both bottles? Looking for numbers. Also, as for value, since we do not do valuations, we suggest you send your photos to bonhams.com or mctears.com

I'll investigate those avenues, thanks. I only have one bottle, and both those pictures are of it - the small label is the back (IMG_0569) and the larger label (IMG_0572) is the front. I can take more if required. Thanks!

Does your bottle have a metal spring cap or cork? During 1927, Dewar's started using a metal 'spring cap' instead of a cork to seal the bottle. Spring caps were then replace by modern screw caps during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Whisky.com does not provide valuations at this time, however, you can be helped by either Bonhams.com or McTears.com in determining the value of your bottle.

it has the modern screw cap on. I'll follow up with the other guys soon, i'm more interested in the approximate year than the value of it. Thanks
