Francis, as you're already aware, our contact at Diageo tells us that by comparing the photographs you provided to items held in their historic packaging collection, they were able to date your bottle. The letters EC preceding the serial number were printed on export bottles between October 1963 - December 1966.

As for a valuation, contact any of these companies: Mctears.com, Bonhams.com and / onlinebbr.com

Dear Joanne,

Thank you for your help, indeed I was thinking of 40+ years in this bottle as the original owner bought it when he was 60 years of age before his death, and this bottle was kept for 35 years in his cabinet, her sister thought of disposing it in a garbage can due to the years it has kept, But they thought of me of asking it first before disposing, now the bottle is with me...I will treat it with care...and it will be opened on special occasions only....

Thanks ,

Francis
