Default William Grant's Old Rare Gold Whisky

Hi
I bought a bottle of the above whisky some 10 yrs back. i.e. the year 2000.
I used a quarter of it for making fruit cake. How am I to know whether the remainder 3/4 bottle is still drinkable or useable for making fruit cake?
Does this type of whisky has an expiry date? Does it has an expiry date once I open the bottle?
Regards
Yap
