I found a bottle of JW red covered in dust next to my parents fridge. It is a screw type cap. I was trying to figure out how old it is. The only noticeable item of interest is what I suspect to be the serial number on the back of the large label. It reads:
7A1751970 I know that the whisky has stopped maturing but will this bottle still be drinkable? Enjoyable? Thanks for all your help. |

We can get information for you regardng the bottle of Johnnie Walker Red you found. But....we need photos! Please take clear shots of the bottle, closure and of course the label (front & back) - clear enough so we can read. You'll need to register here on the Forum. Another option is to send them directly to me - please put "Whisky.com - Photos" in the subject line....Joanne at CCIN.com
