Hi, I was wondering if someone would be able to date a bottle of J&B rare scotch whisky for me. I saw another thread where someone posted that their bottle had a particular combination of letters/numbers on the bottom right of the front label and back label. Is that sufficient? Mine has on the front bottom corner:6052J and on the back right corner:6053J.
My bottle looks just like this one: http://whisky.com/forum/showthread.p...highlight=rare with the following differences: at the bottom, it says imported by Padding Corporation, Fort Lee, NJ. And it lists next to it: 43% Alc. by Vol. Does anyone know approximately how old this is? Thank you! |
