Default Royal Lochnagar

Hello, this is my first post. I am so glad to have found this site.
I'll start by saying that my favorite single malt is Royal Lochnagar 12-year old. But I can only find it in Europe---in Germany, it is very common. Apparently, it used to be available in the US. Why is it not imported? It belongs to a distributor that imports lots of other products, but why not this wonderful whisky?
