I have a black and white whisky bottle novelty that plays music and the top half opens to offer a cigarette. The very top of the bottle is a cigarette lighter. Can anyone tell me about this item.... the age, where it came from or how I can find information on it. I can provide pictures.

I haven't seen this one but there were a lot of these sold in the 1950's and 60's. It was quite a common advetising gimmick and most whisk[e]y brands sold or gave them away. Usually the neck lifts up bringing the cigarettes up from the inside of the bottle on individual holders. It would be good to see a photo as these were always interesting and could possibly be dated form the bottle shape and label.
