Default Chivas Royal Salute Help Please

You all seem so helpful here,I'm hoping for some.I have an unopened blue bottle of chivas royal salute.Has tax seal across top of bottle.No's on seal 1-549 541527574.Bottom of bottle has Spode 75cl.Also has 2506402 on silver lable around top of bottle.It is 4/5 qt.Any way to date it by tax seal?Or any idea of value or how to sell it?Thanks so much!

Its one of the older bottles since they haven't used Spode to make their bottles in many years but the product itself is still sold by Chivas.
Other than the bottle scarcity to a collector its not worth anymore than the current product - IMO.

We can try to have it dated, but as always, we need photos. Please be sure to include a full bottle shot and also a close up of the label - but needs to be clear enough for us to read.

Default Royal Salute

I'll add a question! I have a bottle of Royal Salute but the cork is broken (the top crown portion is broken away from rest of the cork and the cork itself is "loose") ... Question: will this whisky stay good, or should I drink it asap? .. or try to reseal it to preserve it? Cally

I feel the Royal Salute is a very heavy whisky and hard to drink, Is it only my bottle as its a "spode"?
