I was wondering if anyone knows what the age is of the Ardmore Traditional Cask? Does is it have the maturity of a 12yr., 15yr., etc...? I know that it is the main malt of Teacher's. Speaking of which, I have never tried Teacher's.
How is it? |

Ardmore does not have an age statement. The process of double maturation, first in ex-bourbon barrels and then in quarter size casks, added a whole new dimension in flavor profile to the Ardmore spirit. This requires the use of spirits with a range of ages, from 6 to 12 years, to create the right flavor profile. The exact mix is decided by Ardmore's Master Blender Robert Hicks for each bottling, to ensure consistency and flavor.
