Is it worth hanging on to or should I drink it?
I know it is probably either 70's or 80's for two reasons 1- there is a UPC which were not standardized until the 70's 2- there is no surgeon general warning which puts it before 89 If it is close coded I may be out of luck unless someone knows or has access to the serial coding used in the bottling process. Otherwise, does the 55 mean something? like it was bottled in 55? or the UG mean it was bottled for another country? It is a 1.75 liter bottle. The cap and labels are all consistent with the advertisement from late 60's to late 90's!! Any help is appreciated, the bottom of the bottle reads as follows, top to bottom: SC957 1.75L 55 <UG> U9 JW The carrots signify a hexagon around the letters "UG" There seems to be some angel share, is it worth keeping? Should I just drink it? |
