What Glass?

I am new to this Forum, (first post) so I apologize as I am sure this is a common topic.
What glass' do you prefer for scotch and bourbon? I love Riedel for my wine, as I work in the Oregon wine industry and recognize that different style glasses will effect the aromatics of the product.

Hey Jeff,

I am new on the forum as well, and have just recently started venturing in the world of single malt whisky. The glass that I have preferred using lately is "The Official Canadian Whisky Glass" . From what I can tell it seem to be a cross between a the traditional Glencarin Whisky Glass and a small tumbler (see image below). It has the flat bottom and width of a small tumbler style class with the same "tulip" shape of the Glencarin.

Glencairn is the winner IMO. Has a great feel for whisky. I recently imported 400+ glasses from the company in Scotland for a centennial celebration of the Robert Burns Cottage in Atlanta. Glencairn is a great operation to deal with in this kind of venture from across the pond.
