Default I LOVE SINGLETON 12 YR!!! (Appreciation Post!)

Just to throw it out there...I own Laphroaig 30, Lagavulin 16, JW Blue Label and a few others, but this Singleton 12 is really fun to drink. I am drinking Singleton 12 right now and it has an INSANE smoothness that I am absolutely loving. This scotch is VERY enjoyable and could easily be a daily scotch/drink for anyone. Has anyone else had an amazing experiences with this scotch for the insane price of around $30 + tax? I think its the most under priced scotch that I have come in contact with and I plan to keep a bottle of this in my bar at all times.

Arrow The Singleton 12 yo is a great choice!

I think that The Singleton 12 year is definitely the best bang for your buck! The first time I tried it, I remember how impressed I was! It's also great for someone just starting to get into whisky.

I agree, I like it much more than others in that price range. Definately a good intro whisky, as well as a great value.

Hey Powderhound - you're in Denver right? There's a Bushmill's Irish Whisky Dinner at the Stanley Hotel - are you going?

No, I'm actually about 200 miles west of Denver, otherwise I'd love to attend. I've recently attended a small Scotch tasting in Glenwood Springs, and am hoping at some point to make it to Denver for a larger event, but probably not very soon.

OK...If you're going to any upcoming whisky / whiskey (!) tastings, take some pictures and post them here on our Whisky.com Forum!

Thumbs up Bushmills 16 Year Single Malt Irish Whiskey

BTW, I had Bushmills 16 year last night at the Single Malt & Scotch Whisky Extravaganza and it was really great! Really smooth, raisins, cinnamon, spice. This expression is matured in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks for 16 years and then finished for 6-9 months in old port pipes (miniature casks) which allows for a very fast interaction with the wood. A great choice!
