Hello. Excuse me for this kind of question, but i do like whiskies and especially from Islay. But it is difficult for me to understand really certain words on bottles. Will you explain me "multi-layered" and "rare" please.

Multi layers means that there are a number of different flavours to good smell and it's fun to try to find as many as you can. Rare on the other hand could either be marketing speak or, if the bottle is really expensive, that there were very few of them bottled. It's up to you to decide which to believe
