Hi Kate, they look to be from the 1960's through to the 1970's. As they're neither sealed, in great condition or really unique it may be better to just have a dram with them.

Talking Thank You

Thanks Blenderm

I appreciate your reply. Can I ask - what would be considered a "unique" miniature? I often go to antique shows and I might start looking out for interesting bottles but don't really know what to look for? Could you post a picture of an example of something special - just as a guide for me? Getting quite into these little fellas!! Thanks again

Kate

A unique miniature is quite difficult to get as normally they're produuced in their 10's if not 100's of thousands but a good guideline is they have to be full [if possible], definitely unopened with perfect label[s] and also a very old label, say from pre 1940's. There are some collectors who would purchase to fill a gap in their collection but they would have to be full, untampered and 100% perfect. If you check eBay you'll see that they are very seldom sold and normally at a low price. At the auctions the miniature lots normally have anything from 12 to 50 bottles and they still don't get good prices.

Kate, I agree with BLENDERM. Yours appear to be all blended Scotches with the labels in poor condition. Blends normally don't command much in the miniature collectibles market. Single malts do, especially from the independent bottlers, since the number is very limited. Original Bottlings ( known as OBs ) from the distilleries themselves usually don't either unless a limited edition is released.
