Default Hello Introduction ~ Things To Come From Me...

I just wanted to say, "Hello" & greet the board as I've been searching for awhile now, trying to find an outlet of collectors for my client's goods.

I am a Professional Estate Downsizer for seniors located in Central New Jersey Shore area. Thus, when they have a spouse that passes away & they have to move in with their kids, or into Assisted Living, I am called in to ethically downsize their belongings so that they can have monies to take with them, as they live out the final months/years of their lives.

Needless to say, I've come across large amounts of sealed bottles of booze throughout my 15 year career so far, & without having much of an outlet to collectors seeking such goods.

Some of the bottles I've come across this year (2013) include:

A Sealed Case of Jack Daniels with the Silver Service
A Sealed 1937 bottle of VAT 69
A Sealed 1966 bottle of Old Taylor
A Sealed 1964 bottle of Four Roses
A Sealed 1967 bottle of Red Satin
(2) Sealed Bottles of 1982 Dom Pérignon
A Sealed 1951 Bottle of Imperial
A Sealed Bottle 1953 of White Horse
An open (1 or 2 shots missing) of a 1929 I.W. Harper

Not being able to sell them on Ebay, as well as having any of the local Liquor Stores show any interest in them, I was forced to sell these bottles for laughable amounts at my local estate sales. Thus, I spent hours this morning/afternoon trying to find an outlet going forward, as I know I will have 3 new estates that I'll be starting soon that have LOADS of unopened bottles of Scotch, Whiskey & Liquors.

As I inventory them in, I will list them up with photographs of each bottle. All I ask is that when making offers, to try and be as fair & ethical as you can be when doing so.

Remember, although I do get a small commission from these sales, you are really helping a senior citizen obtain monies that they can really (and sometimes, desperately) use in their final years left. (Think of your parents)

Again, "Greetings" & I look forward to getting to know all of you soon on this board!

Cheers!

Alan
