Old bottles of Jack Daniels

I need some advice from experts. I was cleaning my mother's basement last night, and came across some stuff from my father's liquor cabinet that had been stashed. Included were two bottles of Jack Daniels that were purchased some time before 1975. They are both square bottles with green labels holding 90 proof JD Old No. 7. The labels and seals are pretty water-damaged, but intact and readable.

Are these worth anything (that is, should I try to make a mint on eBay)? Or should I just crack one open and have a drink?

For a collector they could be worth something. Maybe you can post some pictures so I can have a look. At the bottom of the bottle you should be able to read the year of the bottle. You have an indication of the age of the bottle. Green labels 90 proof are rare. Depending the age and condition you should be able to sell it to a collector.

Please show some pictures and wait with cracking them open !

I agree. It is difficult to say without seeing what the true damage is.

Are they packed in a box with a plastic cameo of Mr. Jack himself? I would be interested if so.
