I have a bottle of Buchanan's “Black & White”. It has a number 931 on the label. Please see the attached photos. I am looking for an estimated date and if it’s drinkable.

... but with a 49 on the label (picts from the last post with the 900rd number). I wonder how old it is. Got it from my Grandparents in early 90s, estimate that is sat in their cupboard for at least 20 years. Would put it in the 70s.

Please tell my, wadda ya think?

Although both bottles with photos here on this thread have differences - they are dated to the same period, 1966 to the early 1970s.

Alan, we always need photos for dating bottles.
