Ok soooo I had some questions about a JW I got as a gift today, I do not care about selling it or anything like that, I've opened it and tasted it, its exquiset, but there is no date on it or the box, and the box itself is like none iv ever seen before, nor could i find anything about it online after searching for about 4 hours, the box is slim and has a yellow line running down verticaly with a royal seal uptop and under the seal it says "By appointment to her majesty the queen" it also says limited on the box and bottle, it says Black label 12 years old, it has an 86.8% proof and on the inside of the label of the bottle it says "8A1991956" the site wont let me post pictures as i have not been approved yet, sooo yeah, I really just want to know what year its from

ok so I got this bottle of Jhonnie Walker black label, 86.8% proof, 43% alc. it taste like heaven but burns like hell on the way down and its imported from scotland, I mostly just want to know what year its from, cause iv never seen a box like the 1 it came in!

thank you very much and the little sticker by the top just says the same as the bottom and middle, the box has the same shield seal on it and it says "By Appointment, to our majesty the queen." by any chance, have you ever seen a johnnie walker with a box like that?
