Default 1978 50ml crown royal

My grandmother had 9 50ml bottles of crown royal w/purple sack, they are unopened with stamp over top of lid (1978 and i guess serial number on other side) and still full to the top, are they worth anything and or are they safe to drink, they still look brand new.

Thank.
