Exclamation i think i have a 32 years old bottle of ballantines HELP me to make sure

hi every body here i need help to get it right my bottle of ballantines has a date and a hour on the bottle the date shows 1980 is that true that it's age is 32 years

i know that taste still the same when the whisky is in the bottle

(not like wine by the way i have a1998 Arminian wine bottle plus 2001 Lebanese wine)
