As far as I was told this is a new product [18 year old from memory] launched late November ONLY for sale in Indian Duty Free, it may be that it's now in general release, if so then it should be quite good

So I google it a few hours.

It seems to be so:

In Asian Market they dont drink much Whisky.
Johnnie Walker wants to push this a bit and creates the "Gold Label Reserve".
Its cheaper so more people can drink it or make Cocktails or wot ever.

But cheaper Price means, that the quality is not so good as "Gold Label".
The "Gold Label Reserve" has no Age. But it is said, that it is between 12 and 15 years old. From the quality it should be between Black Label und Green Label. The normal "Gold Label" will than no more saled in Asian market. But than is nothing between Green Label and Blue Label. That place should than take the new Platinum Label.

So i understand it.
So maybe it is Gold Label in it ?

I bought a bottle Gold Label and a bottle Platinum Label. Gold Label opened yesterday. When i open the Platinum Label i will look if there is a different taste or something

I will let you know. But the Bottle looks very cool ! http://www.ibm-corp.com/Bilder/DSCF3759.JPG
You can watch better pics @ google. Very nice

I write soon what is in this Platinum Label
