Default Hurricane party whisky

I'm planning on going with Yamazaki 18 as I prepare to ride it out. Maybe a Bruichladdich Infinity to close it out late night. I'm away from any storm surge and flooding is not a problem for my property, but I have >100 trees. We lost a few in the last couple years with 30ish MPH gusts, so it could be an expensive night with 70 mph gusts forecast. Fortunately only a couple could really do any damage to my home, and they were trimmed/thinned last fall. Though losing power is pretty much a given for a day or 2.
Good luck to those of us in the storms path.

No damage in my neighborhood, just some small branches and leaves to clean up. No power though. Probably back by tomorrow night. Some big trees came down in the area. Maybe it's time for a generator? Doesn't seem worth it to me, though having one to keep the heaters running in the winter might be smart and could pay off eventually. It's probably much cheaper than a busted pipe and flood damage.
I hope all fared as well!
Cheers!

Thanks for the update - happy to hear you are safe and sounds like doing as well as can be expected. Having power out really stinks, but hopefully won't be long before it's up and running. Hang in there!
