Is anyone aware of a site on which a detailed search can be undertaken to locate this brand of whisky? I know very little about old scotch whisky or how to go about finding any apart from singular listings by individuals at very high prices. In other words, could an entire case of this particular spirit likely be located ? thanks, mark

This is a tough one - a whole case???! It's no longer in production - so you would have to attend auctions, scour the net, etc. Try going to the McTears (http://www.mctears.co.uk) to see if they have any - and start bidding! But then again, you're talking about a whole case, so that could be very difficult.
Here's a good article from the University of Glasgow about Red Hackle - http://www.gla.ac.uk/departments/sco...dhacklewhisky/ Good luck. |
