i need help with dating the black and white whisky received by me from an uncle

It looks like this bottle dates from the late 1950s, possibly the early 1960s. By the way, just an FYI - the cap used is what’s referred to as a ‘Kork‘n’seal’ – this was the manufacturer’s brand name. Under the foil there’s a metal cap, and the small lever on the side was used to push the cap up and open the bottle, like on a tin of shoe polish.
